Melianthus major, or honey flower, has spectacular silver to grey/green leaves with deeply serrated leaves providing an architectural foliage foil to many other tropical effect plants, or mixed into a late summer perennial border.
In summer, Melianthus major produces tall spikes of reddish-brown flowers, adding another layer of visual interest to the plant.
