Cyathea dealbata (Silver tree fern) is arguably one of the most beautiful tree ferns you can get, endemic and symbolic to New Zealand. It’s so recognisable by the silver-white colour on the back of mature fronds. (colour just appearing ) It is a slow grower eventually reaching a trunk height of 10 metres or more and has a stout, thick woody trunk up to 45cm in diameter. It will be able to withstand frosts as it matures and will be suitable for milder parts of the uk, or use suitable winter protection depending on location. Ideally grown in a large pot and moved inside for winter.
